A high EBV son of Balthayock Impression who
has seven trait leading EBVs in his pedigree with accuracy of at least 79%. He is our first choice bull to use on heifers for proven easy calving and exceptional growth.
Balthayock Saracen.
Our first bull calf by one of our new herd sires from Maerdy. His dam is a very promising daughter of the EBV trait leading Balthayock Impression, our first choice bull to use on our heifers.
Balthayock Shane.
Our second bull calf bom by our new herd sire from Maerdy out of a Ugie Echo daughter . Echo has proved to be a very easy calving bull both here and at Firhills and has bred many successful and prolific cows in both herds.
Balthayock Sebastian.
Sired by the home bred Loyalist, a junior champion at Stirling and winner of the gold cup for the best animal in the show at Perth in 2019 and the sire of some outstanding females here at Balthayock. Despite his impressive size he has proved to be easy calving.
